Mr. Jacob Penkethman is the company director of Same Day Podiatry Ltd and an award-winning Consultant/Principal Level Podiatrist with over a decade of specialised experience in advanced foot medicine. He holds a distinction-level master's degree in foot and ankle surgery (podiatric surgery) and a first-class honours degree in podiatric medicine, complemented by doctoral-level research experience. Mr. Penkethman is a fully qualified independent prescriber, passionate about delivering exceptional care in podiatry.

Having dedicated much of his career to the NHS, Mr. Penkethman quickly ascended to some of the highest levels attainable for podiatrists, gaining invaluable insight into both clinical practice and management. He has influenced national policy and is a sought-after speaker at conferences, where he shares his extensive knowledge and expertise. Before transitioning to full-time private practice, he served as a Band 8 Principal Podiatrist within a large NHS Trust at CCG and ICS level, where he managed multiple senior band 7 podiatrists and multiple high-risk podiatry services across acute and community trusts.

Mr. Jacob Penkethman also served as an esteemed Associate Lecturer in Podiatry at Northampton University, where he delivered advanced lectures to third-year students. He has also treated thousands of patients surgically for ingrowing toenails, serving as the nail surgery lead for a large trust and helping to shape national policy on nail surgery practices. His expertise extends to providing steroid injections in the foot, ankle, and knee, ensuring comprehensive treatment options for his patients.
